Blue, to toss the idea out there, I'm thinking of removing that subtraction that drops the floor down maybe 16uu to leave the perimeter edge raised. This will make a flat surface. Then, as Skrewy said, put railing along the ladder wall with a physics sideways gravity volume on top so people can't go prone on top of that but they can still jump over it. This should eliminate the glitch and retain access to the area.

I see. Why not just add the railing on the ladder wall, put a blocking volume around it so people cant prone under the railing. Like I told you on the server yesterday, I just have a preference for playerblocks before physics volumes haha.

But either of our ways work :D

But then you're still left with the people that will go prone on TOP of the railing and then the people that go prone on the front ledge. You gotta remove that subtraction and add a physics volume on top of the railing to push people off like the light by the roof on Weapons Cache.

I never though that going prone on the top of the railing was a problem.

Can't go over the railing, can't lay on top. I tried a PhysicsVolume to push the player off the railing but I couldn't get it to work right. There's no odd BSP to hide behind, it should work fine.

Jonny, it's on Dropbox in the regular mAAp folder if you want to check it out or release it. Aside from this roof, I removed the Escort building's zones like the devs did for 2.8 (for whatever reason) and aligned a texture. Other than that, it's all the same.

I like it, despite some people will complain about not being able to walk and prone over the last pixel available on the roof part toward the street. But if i recall correctly, it works like this even in SF-Extraction so i think its fine.

Weird. I don't see anything changed on the West Wing Roof from 2.5 to 2.8. There's no Anti-Portals or zones that could make an object disappear, let alone a player. I still need someone to test the maps I posted above.

Compare to 2.8.5 version not just 2.8.  I remember a final update after 2.8.0

Oh god please don't put a rail..  How will i jump off now without dying???  This is the quickest way down and is a match winner in the past.

Didn't you know US Military has specially equipped flubber shoes so they CAN jump off a 4 story building?
