could anyone tell me how to obtain it on SF Hospital map? or is it a feature of later versions of AA?

You are not able to use M24 on SF Hospital.

Unless a server admin changes your class ingame, there's no chance to play with that rifle on SF: Hospital. Btw, it's not really suited for 90% of the Hospital gameplay (what would you do with that weapon? camp every second of each round on the roof or on the 2nd floor escort building? Like about dozens do already?).

Anyway you can try offline (open the console and type -> mpcheat class s24 )

Of course there is the SPR. A different rifle but it has its qualities (faster to operate).

well, the game is all about tactics. Some rush hospital building, some fight outside. in 2.8.5 version it was fully operative, so You can't say it's useless, it was added for some reason, maybe change of tactics when fighting outside, which is suitable for me

now B18 slot brings the same as C18, I hope it gonna change in nearest future.

Settings > Parental Control > Advanced Markmanship ==> Gives you SF instead of SPR

If you don't do that you should have A SPR
