PC Speed

my computer is running way slower than usual.  It started about 2-3 days ago and I have no idea why.  It is also affecting my AA gameplay.  I have a low ping but am still having some lag.  I have ran multiple virus scans and they all have said everything is fine. please help

Can you start task manager(taskmgr.exe) and look under processes and see what process is taking all the cpu?

pingtest.net and speedtest.net, post the results.

As ELiZ said, open up Task Manager. If it's Windows 8, show us a screenshot of the startup tab.

A good virus/malware scan would be Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (be sure to uncheck trial of pro version at end of installation).

Hi Fans! :)

Maybe your CPU Heatsink is full of dust and your CPU is Throttling to avoid overheating.

EDIT:

Holy crap!! That is one of the nastiest heatsinks and fans combos I have ever seen. Chernobyl melt down.

I've actually seen that at a friend of mine. He was complaining that his pc went so slow when he started a game.
I checked his temps, and they were huge.
Turned out the coolers were cooling the dust, instead of the processor:)

I think I need to clean mines, because I hear a loud noise coming from ventilators under my laptop, couple times i got even ''your CPU is Throttling to avoid overheating.'' message when it self switched off, so it pretty much fucked up but waiting for my laptop to fuck more so I don't turn it on:P

Computers need to be de-dusted several times a year at a minimum. Laptops maybe even once every 2 months. Most people don't do this.
