I think we agreed some time ago to assign one icon type for real US soldiers. If we keep assigning icons to every kind of army soldier who appeals, we will quickly run out of it.

There are other possibilities to use those icons. E.g. giving them as medals in AA tournaments seems more compelling to me, as it promotes the game, and is fun for more players (believe me or not, but in the CFC competition we organized, people really wanted those icons :-D).

As far as we have spare icons, you can keep it, no problem for me. But if we run out of them, we may have to ask you to switch to the other icon (i don't remember which it was).

And before someone starts bashing me that I don't care about US soldiers: to be honest, I don't feel any sentiment for the US army in the context of this game, since they dumped it like a not needed trash.

LOL, I hope I didn't ignite a flame war :-D.

I saw you guys can make icons? why you don't make icons with gold medals, silver and bronse medals for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place of tourney's and cups? ;p

i didnt need my email back in the day i used both my state and government id as a confirmation also with visual confirmation on a webcam based program also had my original orders of deployment also but its just having proof of who you are and what you do that matters
Well true. I guess I can understand that.

cause theres actually alot of military personnel that actually dont have military based emails being that it needs permission from s-6 and is cac enable (which means you cannot access it at home) only way is on base
That statement isn't true.

**Edit**
At least in the Army everyone gets a us.army.mil email address....and you don't need a CAC card reader to access it......AKO uses CAC card access, as well as password access.....but password access can be a pain in the ass as you have to change your pass every X amount (won't say the actual amount) of days. But this may be different with the other branches.

in the Marines they see it differently they feel that you dont need the email until your specified job or rank requires you to have it therefor most of the new joins/lower ranks dont even have the emails and also to access the email in marines you need the cac card to do so which has to be enabled through s-6

Yea we had to go thru our G6 to get ours....I can log on both ways, which is great cause I'm too lazy to go spend the 30 bucks on a CAC reader that I will use maybe 3 times the entire time I own one. So I just change my pass everytime it expires. :)
