Failed to run training message
« on: Thursday, August 01, 2013, 12:53:10 PM »
Hi guys,

Got another Problem after the last update to 7.36. I'm not able to get access to any training but i don't have a clue what's the reason. After being logged in i try to start basic training marksmanship. 25Assist quits back to desktop with the following error:

Failed to run training - Starting Training Rifle_Range... Launching ArmyOps client... ArmyOps is running... Unable to connect to ArmyOps... - Visit www.aao25.com for further help.

In earlier versions i could enter training without problems.

I would appreciate your help.

Thanks for reporting Pred@t0r82
I've looked into your session log and can see what the problem is, It will be fixed in the next update when training goes mandatory.
If you really want to get training now PM me you e-mail address and i will e-mail you a fixed 25assist.exe

another thing.

i did the first training today with the player PlatoonFighter.
after first part, i did say "save results".
it did say then ....wating ...waiting .....
then this error message apears:

i tried it 3 times, from assist menu, form aa2 menu, but always the same connection failure.
guess the server is not ready....

the server could not be updated
error: err: check connection
would you like to try again?

yes -> same problem again.

Click Save Results and right after you do that you can hit ~ and then type exit. That message is for AA trying to communicate with the original account servers.

when training done, press save - then wait until the timeout is shown.
then do save again and press esc and exit.
results will be saved then.

A method to 100% save your training results is to click on "Save Results",
watch the hourglass work, wait for the message "Failed to save your training results",
click on retry and exit AA immediately. Once back in Assist, it will tell you that your
results are available. Click save. Done.
