Hello,

I recently installed AA 2.5 assist, but i noticed i didn't had the "Mini Map" in-game.. i search around settings but i couldn't find where to activate it. Do you people have a Mini Map shown while you are playing? Where i can see those who are spotting their position. Where can i activate it?

Its called SAI, there's no thing as such in this version. Actually, there was a basic Unrealscript made one, but being too easy to exploit it can't be used.

But the previous version of 2.5 had a SAI or a mini map.. Why did they took it away? Now i Can't figure what's the purpose of the letter "u" (report in) in the game if we don't have a mini map to see it.

Forget, that was in the version 2.8.5.. Are they planning to update it to this version?

Well, when you report in you give the location where you are at. Isn't that a useful piece of info? Of course the radar would be a lot more useful, but i can't honestly tell you if there's a chance to create one. Hiroku, i'll take that you mean 2.8.5 because i don't think 2.4 ever featured a radar or such thing (you can lookup a few videos on youtube for that matter).

dont worry, you only have a select few maps that ppl actually play to learn the locations.... the only other thing you have to do is read. Glad we are back to the compass and having to read reports!

sai was just unrealistic. think it was made just for noobs and the illiterate.

he is true, you can activate sai, but without running auth system.
do not understand that, but ok for me.

There's a loophole that allows cheats/exploits to be used more easily when the SAI is activated. I'm guessing some things that it would use are right now blocked by Assist and/or CVARs so they can't be used for cheating, but they would have to be allowed for the SAI to work.

well u might think that if u are always waiting and hiding on public. if u are rushing and ur team didnt expect u to be already at enemies location u get tk'ed a lot
