I truely don't understand what we need developers- the game is perfectly fine as is (especially after all the stuff Eliz added).
It seems to me that the only thing that will keep this game alive is an updated (this time legal) AC system. Maybe this is what you mean by developers, idk.

The only thing that would keep this game alive is +500 players

Yea, that'd be great. Anti-cheat developers. It would also be great to port Assist to a platform that's faster. Have a chance to rewrite the code and make things more efficient/user friendly as well as implement some new features. Just because something 'works' doesn't mean it can't be improved. Have a look at every piece of software around you.

I wouldn't disagree with your last statement, but I don't think improvements are crutial for the sutvival of the game. AC is. Usually improvments bring an endless ciycle of bugs/bugs fixing which hurts more than improves (imo).

Regarding what Ganja said, I think that the only way to increase the amount of permanent players is online marketing. Maybe you could allocate some of your budget (if there is something left there) on managing a display account in Adwords or maybe some other display network. I think it has the highest potential of bringing some old players.

Actually Assists Anti-Cheat-System has killed the game.
I don't believe that the game will get back on his feet this way.

Check the graphs, there was no more than 1100 unique logins during the day and the other day there was about 850. Not as good as it was but it's coming back very well.

We need new players, that play different maps. This is realy getting boring actually, playing with the same people on the same maps, choosing same sides and going same spots every single time, I mean where's the fun?

If you check BT stats you see a drop from ~950/day to ~650/day since the AC-shutdown scenario.
That means over 30% are gone.

If we would get rid of Assist it may bring back a lot of them, even without scoring.

What do you mean by "get rid of Assist". None forcing nobody to use Assist. You can easily play without it. You can also build your own site, have a forum, host servers and play with all the rest of the guys who don't want assist. You can do whatever you want.

You make no sense. It's like saying "we need to get rid of BF3 so people will play COD"

Actually there is such place (for AA 2.8.5), you welcome to check their activity there:

You can close your eyes to what happened, but the damage that was done cant be repaired.
Player stats reflects it.

AA 2.5 needs to go a new way or will sink into obscurity, believe it or not.
