 - Biggest carnage in one round (most kills in one round)
 - Biggest geek of the week (longest session in one week)
 - other stats could be really fun to add ;) not sure how easy/difficult t would be to add them

plz, dont give stats about k/d ratio, already too many people caring about it. just make a stats for much kills, without looking at the deaths etc

I could ignore deaths and just do "most kills this week". That would basically equate to skill and amount of time played which might make other players want to play more, thus having a more active game.

Read my post before yours.

I think the biggest carnage and geek of the week ie total time spent would be cool as well.

I think all that needs to be taken into account where as "top kill" merely symbolizes any decent player who happens to have the most free time that week. Ya know what i mean?

Too much leverage to people that simply have the most free time imo.

They should all be combined to make a score. Those scores compared.

Then top 10 players listed with their score, and all stats.

FR is important because it shows how effective of a player you are.
Kills per hour - shows you dont camp, boosting your fr, and are an effective player.
Total kills - is a summary of your kills per hour so should give some value but not as much.

Other wise its just really any decent player who has the least of a life that week lol.

But its for sure a good start if nothing else can be done

Actually, player with the most kills in a week would be hard to do without basically creating the bulk of a tracker website. That's not something I really want to do right now. What about most kills in a round/match?

I'm not really sure how to count time played and thus how to generate kills per hour. I think this is where an advanced tracking mod would come into place that would say how long a player has been in a server.

Kills per hour: Symbolizes your effective, and not a camper

0-5 = 2, 6-10 = 4, 11-15 = 6, 16 - 20= 8, 21-25= 10,26-30= 12, 31-35 = 14, 36 -40= 16 AND SO ON

Frag Rate:
Symbolizes your effective

0-.25 =2 .26-.5 = 4, .51-.75 = 6, .76-2=8, 1.1-1.25=10, and so on

Set minimum weekly hours played to qualify on the list to like I dunno 6 hours?

Then have a table of score base on ROE to score ratio for points

ADD those points up and IMO that would best symbolize the best player.

HELL even make it so the time needs to be spent on diff maps. IE you need to have played at least 1 hour on 3 diff maps, and a total of 6 hrs?

Play with the values and score amounts but I really think with those all taken into account its an awesome way to determine the top player

All this data exists on battletracker, can't you trawl the data from there.

You need to some how gather the info between the weeks and separate them into chunks for weekly stats.

Total time played / total kills = kills per hour.

Death to kill ratio = fr.

I have no idea how to script this shit but it would be solid.

All these stats are on tracker already, but the issue is making it into week chunks.

This is sounding more and more like a whole new tracker being built.

One of my problems with that is, how do you differentiate a players kills last minute from this minute? Let's say last minute he had 5 kills and now he has 6 this minute. You obviously don't add 5 to 6 for total kills, that'd be wrong. What happens if the query script doesn't catch the end of the match and misses out on the kills/points added in the last round?

A full tracker is definitely possible with more stats than you could think of. The issue is time and frankly, for me, limited knowledge. I had a heck of a time figuring out how to build the code to chart numbers of players alone. It would be good if AgentStone came back around and wanted to help out to build a new tracker. Then perhaps Smoke & ELiZ could build an advanced server mod.

We already have the all-aa-advanced tracker mod, just needs to be decompiled and directed to a different domain.

And added to/customized. Smoke & me had quite a few ideas, I don't know if they're implemented in the mod.

Let's say you can make that work, will you be able to migrate the BT stats, or would it require everybody to register there?

Probably can't migrate BT stats. That would really only be valuable if we used BT code as well. IMO, tracker should be optional.
