Anyone run this game on Linux and NAT with 'honor'?
« on: Sunday, September 09, 2012, 20:08:39 PM »
Trying to get my server to show up properly in the list, but i'm not seeing it as being honor, nor do I see it displaying a ping.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks .

Try reading this. Spanky posted all ports there.

I'm trying to run the linux server.

From what I can see, the ports are open because when I try and run the windows server client, it seems to work after I disable the Port Testing to External IP.

How do you disable that in the linux server ?

Here's my command start up.
 ./server-bin GLOBAL insurgent_camp -multihome=0.0.0.0 -Port=1716

Seems to be communication at start up..

It is because oficial authoirization is down. Serwer looks like LAN, but authorization is done by Asist server pakages

All of the necessary ports are opened and forwarding accordingly.

I run PFSense as my router/firewall.

multihome has to be the server ip and not 0.0.0.0

nd change
Code: [Select]
/serverx LAN INSURGENT_CAMP -nohomedir ini=aa25srv.ini log=aa25srv.log -multihome=172.30.2.8
to

Code: [Select]
/serverx LAN INSURGENT_CAMP -nohomedir -ini=server/aa25srv.ini -log=server/aa25srv.log -multihome=*serveriphere*
for the firewall u need to naviget to the armyops/system folder and add aasrvXXX.exe and aaudpXXX.exe to firewall exceptions

well if you want your server to be set as an Internet server you must set it as GLOBAL
make sure you change directory to the server-bin file directory , default is ~/25Assist/armyops/System and then run the command:

Code: [Select]
./server-bin GLOBAL INSURGENT_CAMP -nohomedir ini=aa25.ini log=aa25.log -Port=1716 -Multihome=0.0.0.0
Also , you can set those options ( port and ip ) in the aa25.ini file
replace 0.0.0.0 with your external IP , find it in here
