« on: Sunday, September 08, 2013, 16:39:50 PM »
Hi, I've just come back to AA after being away for a few years. I made a new account with battletracker and down loaded AA assist as instructed. Everything was going fine until Admin refused to activate my account,it said i already had one. Me and my son play on the same pc and he has had his account activated but i havent???? Please get back to me asap, thanks.

Me and my son play on the same pc

That's why. Only 1 account per computer.

Does this policy really makes sense in his situation?

No. But if we allow it, it opens a loophole for those to bypass bans. "That was my sons/friends/dogs account that you banned, please let me have an account!"

You have to draw the line somewhere. I'd love to believe everybody but there are those dipshits that lie just to get what they want in life.

You'll have to provide me with your BattleTracker # and your son's BattleTracker #. I'll ban his and activate yours. Then, when he wants to play, have him login (he'll get a ban message) then we can verify the new hardware he wants to play on and unban him.

Looks like your son already used another computer. Both you and him are activated now. Have fun!

i do not like this rule, really not :(
for situations like this, you should be able to activate 2 accounts on one computer. in case of a hack, the computer and the accounts (both) should be banned.
not everybody has his own comp.

Like I stated before:
This rule is mindless.

My wife and I played this game together since years.
What if we had not started in 2006 but last week, your "one account rule" would prevent us from playing.

What caps it all is the fact that the one we owe this shit is allowed to play again...

No he is not allowed to use assist anymore.
Also this rule is upto the discretion of the admins. Its not black and white.

It's not just because of that. It's also about having respect for your account. You might have some, but not everybody does. I play every day with israeli people  that have 5 different accounts each, with no more than 1000 kills on it, with which they tk and ghost. One account is making things much easier ...
