You need to open ports 1716 and 1717, However i think the gamespy thread which put the server onto the server list stoped working with windows 7 and the only way to get your server to show up is to use assist server manager beacuse that has its own gamespy routine built in.

Why would the gamespy thread die in Windows 7? I am using Assist to run the server and I've got UDP & TCP forwarded for the following ports: 1716, 1717, 1718, 8777, 27900, 20045, 14200. I've let the server sit for 10 minutes and longer just to make sure it would have time to get in the list but it's never there :(

BTW, Jonny, there was a guy that came on here talking about how Assist needed a code change cuz of Battletracker or something, did he message you?

Yea the port test passes. I can join my own server by typing in the external IP (what someone else would type in).

I do have Authorization issues. When I joined my server, I get kicked for failed Authorization. Is that related? (I've realized how AA noob I am...)
