Improve FPS

Would there be a way on my end or on Assist's end to improve my FPS on maps such as River Village or Petrol or Border ? I kinda like those maps but I srsly have like 10 FPS on them, it's not really enjoyable.

10 fps? Are you running on a old Intel graphic chipset or anything close to it? If so, i don't think you have a great margin to play with.

Petrol is the custom made map, right? If i recall correctly there were some high poly model around (vehicles), so nothing you can fix on your part i guess.

It's been established that the computer used for the Apollo moon landing ran at 2.048MHz. This is approximately 2.048MHz more than Ganja's computer. What I'm trying to say is, this is Ganja's computer;



Seriously though, there's little that could be done. Maybe some map optimization but those wide-open maps can't really be fixed unless you like hugging walls.

Hahaha fuck you Spanky. Seriously on other maps I don't really have performance issues. But yes, when I launch fraps you all see the red FPS :/

It's an armyops.ini that helps you see through the fog.
Oops, wrong thread. :D

I suppose the .ini should help with your FPS.

But like others have said, there is only so much that can be done to increase performance. At one point you'll have to replace your potato.

Try it, Decals/Projector are Enabled (bullet holes, nade marks), change the resolution too, sometimes playing in Window borderless mode gives a few frames

I often put decals on, then off, depends on the map really. I'll take a look at it, thx

ten years ago we played hospital for an hour with the cheat server on
it was fun, for a change, fire, fly through the air, jump a kilometer, go outside the map, etc..
the admin server can do that if it knows, I don't have all the commands, but it would be fun to play a couple of hospital games after a long time..
btw..if anyone remembers at all, he knew it until he was banned from assist admin and players for cheating:):)
