but the Z key is not programable i think. this key is for Zoom of the SAI i guess (i might be wrong).

I think the Z key is the default key for Enemy Spotted.
If you want to bind the Z key to alt fire, you'll need to bind something else to EnemySpotted first.

That's solved now but what about the resolution? I want to play with 4:3 normal fov which is 1440x1080 but it always opens the game at 1920x1080.

Go assist, settings, video, full screen and write down the resolutions

Yeah I do that, they're both 1440x1080, but it starts up in 1920x1080 and I have to change the resolution with setres.

I have to use Advanced FS to get the resolution because in fullscreen it automatically uses 1280x960 or similar lower resolution and not the correct 1440x1080. It won't enable the correct resolution without Advanced FS.

I fixed the resolution with this trick. So for anyone else out there on a fullHD monitor who wants proper 4:3 fullscreen do this:

-First go to AMD catalyst and look under Information, then Software.
-Look for the 2D Driver Path. Make a note of the Path as you'll need it later.
-Go to start menu search for RegEdit
-Open Regedit as Administrator (You must open as admin otherwise regedit will not save changes).
-Open the folder as described in the 2D driver path.
-Look for a registry file in that folder called DALNonStandardModesBCD2 click Modify then add your chosen custom resolution to the list. (Mine was for 1440x1080 14 40 10 80 00 00 00 60 - the last two digits denote refresh rate)
-Exit Regedit
-Reboot
-Check Windows display and Catalyst Control to see your new resolution

With nvidia its easier you can just add the custom resolution in the driver settings.

or you can type @ in-game console: SetRes 1440x900 and restart the game

Uhm, Possessed, that's his problem. It doesn't save it. Next time he starts up again, he needs to do it again.

Oh, OK. I figured he had already tried that, but I might have been wrong, he might only have tried the setting in the options.

No, the resolution is 1440x1080 not 1440x900, so the drivers didn't recognize as its not a standard resolution it and thats why it didn't accept it. Now after that registry trick it accepted the resolution normally with setres 1440x1080, and it works great.
