ASSAULT
- Situation
A known terrorist cell has set up a base of operations in a small border village. Intelligence reports confirm they are planning a synchronized bombing strike at several different civilian landmarks. Intelligence also reports that high level sensitive information (PRECIOUS CARGO) pertaining to this bombing strike is being kept at this location.
- Mission
Secure the precious cargo located in building DELTA 683 at vicinity grid 22635986 and then proceed to extraction point.
- General Instructions
- Enemy Forces: Squad sized unit armed with assault rifles, light machine guns, and advanced marksmanship support.
- Friendly Forces: One squad from the 172nd Sep. Infantry BDE. with advanced marksmanship support.
- Terrain: Two small desert villages made up of 1-2 story adobe structures. The villages are separated by dirt roads and are surrounded by open fields void of much cover.
- Rules of Engagement: Use of force authorized against all positively identified enemy combatants. Be aware that there are other non-combatant personnel in the area. Minimize harm to local infrastructure.
DEFENSE
- Situation
Having just secured important high level information within a remote border village, a defense must be set up to secure the village and the sensitive information contained within it. Intelligence reports that a terrorist counter-attack is imminent.
- Mission
Defend the intelligence information located in building DELTA 683 at vicinity grid 22635986 from falling into enemy hands.
- General Instructions
