it was them fucking neighbors that im having problerms with, stole my fucking recycling i was saving to cash in. prolly $100 in aluminum cans

$100? You had 2,000 cans laying around? When I lived in Oregon, I always liked doing that but I only ever let it get up to $5-$10 worth and did it before grocery shopping so the trip into the store wasn't wasted. Maybe keep them inside :)

Every state has a different deposit. Here in Michigan it's 10 cents per can/bottle.

Ok so he either had 1,000 or 2,000 cans laying around. You can't crush the aluminum either, the machine won't take it. That's a lot of space being taken up.

Or you take it to a scrapper and sell it that way.

I just recently got like 23.52 € for my cans and bottles and I seriously thought that was a lot to get from it. There was 302 items (each either 4 or 8 cents), my car was full of the shit...

What do you do with them then? Are they counted out by hand at the recycling center or do you sell them by pound to a scrap yard?

i was keeping them on the side of my house right by a window, its like homeless/street people that took it i found out not my neighbors.

Grapes, you gotta learn how to ignore Skrewy. I've become quite good at it. It's funny too cuz he'll send me 30 messages and various Buzzes on MSN and I'll read it but ultimately he doesn't say anything worthwhile. Just... forget about it :)
