Of course. That Mac version was made when Apple was phasing out PowerPC processor, to use newer and more performing Intel ones. Briefly, it was made for an IBM architecture and you can't run it on your Intel cpu.

The bottom line is that you can now run Windows, so if you want to run America's Army on your Mac, get any Windows version between Xp and 7 and bootcamp it. But really, for that matter, you might also consider Linux, which is free. Videocard drivers are available but might need testing tho.

http://www.ubuntu.com/download
Free to download and install...

The problem was probably that you were looking for "linux", but different  linux distributions have different names, and I guess just searching for "linux" didn't find you any links at first. Ubuntu is (to my knowledge) one of the most used linux distribution.

O.o Are you kidding me?

https://www.google.it/search?sugexp=chrome,mod=15&ix=s9&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=free+linux

first link, just looking by your terms (despite Linux distro being +95% "free" in various licenses, gpl etc)

Linux is famous for being developed over a gazillion different distros, for plenty of different cpu architectures and for different uses (personal pc, mobile, embedded, industrial applications, etc).

Don't be so hard on the kid, maybe he mistyped something or used some other search engine that might be default for the browser due to some add-ons or whatever. Or in a worse case he did both. I didn't think it would be hard to find linux distributions by typing "free linux" in google, but I didn't care to try to find out either.

Didn't meant to be rude. It's just that i find it rather spontaneous to question Google almost like it was a "person".
