To me, and possibly Dennis, creating a custom theme for Headshot.

I totally was talking to someone today about SMF themes and coding. Hahahahaha, this is so funny.
O mans, what was it you liked about the old theme?

I might put my foot down and say no theme until final release. For every update until then, I'd have to manually update and install the theme you guys make.
Skrewy, I'm sorry you feel that way, it's just changes in the web. The old theme was very square and reminiscent of the early 2000's. This theme is the official default theme for SMF 2.0. Everyone's moving to more visually pleasing (no sharp edges) graphics. I like this theme and it's very easy to get used to from the old theme, I think they did a good job.

When will the world understand...that people artistically motivated do not have a reason to produce/create new visual content?

I don't think a new theme is such a bad idea. It'll at least give Headshot its own look.

Skrewy seems to have a valid excuse for liking the old theme. But when mans linked to the UN site . . . .
I don't think a 90s-esque site with flames and faggy gifs are any indication of how a modern website with usability should look.

Honestly, keep it simple. I liked the old theme and this one isn't bad, I can't stand forums that are flashy lol.

Art and a functioning forum are two seperate things dann. Dont take my words out of context....

I think a new theme is a great idea. Right now Headshot looks like any site forum out there. It doesn't have anything unique to set it off. I think a theme, if done right, could have a positive affect on the site.
We should at least see what concepts Dann can come up with in Photoshop.

But a forum isnt about what it looks like, it is the community behind it.
but if they want to make it looks nicer why not let them? I think a custom theme would be cool.

Dann (and anyone else) if you wanna make something, go for it. Just make sure, on your own, that it works with SMF 2.0 RC3 and any version after that.
