Series

Sup guys,

I got tons of freetime right now and I'd like to start a new serie but there's too much choice out there, so can you give me some advice? I like all kind of series, very different styles.

For the moment I been watching things like Suits, Mentalist, Arrow, Person of Interest, Agents of Shield, Blacklist and House of Cards. Some of them are really interesting (House of cards) other are plain stupid but entertaining (Arrow) but I love them all.

Enlighten me fellas

PS: I was thinking about starting "Orange is the new black", any of you watching it?

Don't waste your time watching TV - go to the people, talk to them or just simply watch ... people are awesome.
If you are not communicative, then buy a dog, often go out for a walk with him and he will help you break down any barriers.

Life is short... do what you love. no excuses!
What if you could change the world by changing your perspective of it?
Would you?

I'd love to do all you've just stated, but for personal reasons I can't.

Thanks for the advice though ...

Well, I watch a ton...

The Big Bang Theory
Two and a Half Men
Forever (new this year)
Family Guy
Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Stuff I've watched and felt was good (they've ended now):
Dexter
House MD
Breaking Bad

PS.
Everyone keeps saying how Game of Thrones is the jizz or whatever, but I couldn't bore myself through the pilot...

Dexter is good but stop at season 4 or so, it goes downhill (writers strike). Breaking Bad is worth 3-4 watches, excellent show. House of Cards is good but often went over my head. Orange is the new black is good, especially if you like boobies. House is good for a few episodes but they're all pretty much the same. Bojack Horseman on Netflix is great as is Arrested Development.

I wouldn't bother with anything else that Teddy listed, it's all pure shit.

I second these. Great shows. Bojack Horseman surprised the hell out of me. Didn't expect it to be what it was, but I loved it.

Some of my favorite TV series are:
Futurama(first 4 seasons)
Archer (first 2 seasons)
Arrested Development
Parks and Rec

I don't really watch many serious TV shows, mostly comedies.

Great minds think alike. Killa's choices are good. Archer & Futurama, while they're great shows, go downhill because the creators try too hard and they run out of good material. Parks & Rec also falls in this category IMO but it's more dumb comedy than anything else so it's more good for background noise.

Right now, I'm watching Boss on Netflix. Kelsey Grammer is fantastic in it. It feels like Breaking Bad but in a different scenario.

I used to love Futurama... Unfortunately they wanted to stretch it out in the end and it all went to shit pretty fast in later seasons.

And I do agree that most of what I watch is crap :) I just do it to pass time.

The walking dead is the only series I watch, it's not about just zombies but also about character development which I really like :)

So all in all, what you're doing, Adrien, is switching one addiction (AA) with another (TV). :D

AA was the bigger addiction. Once I'll be allowed to have a social life again I can easily stop watching TV, but I never really could stop AA so it's a win-situation :D
