Using my forum account, I tried to login via the launcher and it says my account doesn't exist. Does it take time to propagate?

Your forum account and game account are entirely separate, which explains why you aren't able to sign in. You can create an Assist account here (https://auth.aa25.org/register/) if you haven't done so already!
