I have seen some topics about this problem, but didn't find a solution for it. (for example http://aao25.com/forum/general-chat-90/windows-no-disk/ (http://aao25.com/forum/general-chat-90/windows-no-disk/))
So during the game I constantly (each 5 min at least) get an alert box "Error: no cd, please put in a cd ..." Or something similar.
Anyone knows a working solution?
I was playing on windows bootcamp on a MBP.
(I've seen assist is also available for mac, so I'm trying to play on OSX later on. Let's hope I don't get that error on mac!)

"The answer lies in the words "Windows: No Disk", your PC is looking for a USB
device - e.g. a USB stick or a cell phone - that you've recently plugged in
and have removed without using the "remove hardware safely" option in the
right hand bottom corner of your screen. Put the last USB device you used
back into the USB port and then use the "remove software safely" option.
The pop up message will disappear."

I've heard that some have solved the problem simply by inserting a CD in to CD-rom track, it shouldn't matter which CD it is, but they said Elton John albums works like a charm ;)
The way Jonny described sounds both reasonable and ridiculous at the same time, but then again, it's windows :D Like Koden said, Mac doesn't have such problems.

I don't even have a cd-drive in my MBP ^^ so I can't put a cd in it.
I didn't used any usb yet on windows (only the one to install windows), maybe I can try that.
But I'd think restarting windows should solve that as well, but it didn't ...

I quoted that post by jonny exactly because not every PC has a CD-ROM unit, is the unit letter mentioned in the error message?

2. Run regedit
3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ->SYSTEM ->CurrentControlSet ->Control ->Windows ->ErrorMode
4. Change value from 0 to 2

Hardcore problem solving :D Jallu told me he have had no such problems after this edit, but remember that this effects on your windows, not just on game. This one seems to remove windows error messages :D Basically you should never run regedit unless you know what you're doing.

I'm not sure how exactly bootcamp works, but if it's anything like a virtual machine, the problem could be a virtual device.
In any case, the mac client should work just fine, ronski is a nice example :)
