Resolution
« on: Tuesday, October 21, 2014, 14:18:49 PM »
Hello all, I have a problem:

My screenresolution = 1024x768, because when I have 1366x768 I can't see the full map... (for example: don't see my thumb when I throw nades). But when I have 1024x768 is the problem that I have black pieces on the left & right side. So my full screen isn't full...

Can I fix this?

Thanks,

-[Dm].AFCA_CBS

While in-game type in the console "setres 1366x768" and see what happens.

Sounds like you are not running in full screen?
Check video Settings and mess around with Advanced FS.

The reason you don't see your thumb with widescreen is because of that, wide screen. The game, instead of adding to the edges, cuts off from the top and button, when you use widescreen resolutions.

Now the reason you have black edges is usually graphics driver related. There's usually options such as 'stretch' or 'keep aspect ration' somewhere in your driver software. You need to change it to not keep it's aspect ratio or to stretch the screen as needed. The specific values and places to switch them will vary depending on your graphics card (and it's driver).

For me and my NVIDIA driver (it's an old one since newer drivers crash my system), all I have to do is open "NVIDIA Control panel" ->"Display" -> "Adjust desktop size and position" and change to "Use NVIDIA scaling"(instead of "Use NVIDIA scaling with fixed aspect ratio" or "Do not scale")
This will, however make a circle in the game appear like an ellipsoid on your screen.

I guess you're trying to represent what Assist settings say.

Like I said, your problem lies in the video card drivers.

Graphic Detail Normal
WideScreen FOV ticked
Advance FS ticked
Full screen mode 1366 x 768
Window mode 1023 x 600
Windows 8 gemma unticked

That's what I got, you should try update your graphic card if nothing helped from my settings.
When you in window mode, try alt + enter, it goes to full screen and from full screen to window screen.

Like I said. He's problem is not the game settings. It's the graphics card driver settings.

Find device manager on ur pc, search for display adapters, click on it and it should show you what is your graphic card, then double click it, on top there are labels, click driver, update driver then or go to google by typing ur graphic card model and find update by installing it manually.

To make it easier;
It's either:
Nvidia - http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx?lang=en-us
AMD - http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool
or Intel - http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect

Yeh just find out what is your graphic card and download it by provided links that spanky wrote.
