Maybe you can have a look at the process manager while playing, and see if the process disappears. That would probably mean it crashed. Perhaps you can see something about the crash in the Windows event viewer. eventvwr.msc

So, I'm having the same problem here.

Downloaded client today, did a fresh install of 25Assist (both beta and standard client), downloaded, redownloaded and than deleted all and downloaded again, but nothing helped :/

Did multiple PB tests, uninstalls, installs etc. - everything green there

Even tried downloading pbsvc from official punkbuster site (it's a bit newer version that one that ships with 25Assist), but I've got the same error (everything was run as Administrator).

Couldn't find anything PB related in eventlog...

Dunno if it's required, but I've even enabled UPnP on my router, you might guess, didn't do a shit

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Do you have firewall exceptions for PnkBstrA and PnkBstrB in your firewall?

yes, my windows firewall is set to accept by default, checked exceptions and set them to allow for all network types, didn't help.

I have noticed that PnkBstrB process dies at some point and that's when I get kicked from server

Edit:
I have installed everything from scratch on another computer and I'm getting the same error

i have the exact same problem after a fresh windows installation. downloaded all, pb a/b processes are up and running, but then kick with pb b process fault.
this is a bigger problem which can not be solved by players. i did a post to possessed about it 14 days ago, no response so far. good luck.

Hi All,

Indeed, I have the same issue with my pc. I am currently looking for a fix, but haven't found any. As soon as I did find a solution, I will share it with you.
Every fix with firewall, processes running etc. did not help. Only thing I didn't try yet is my router settings.

Nice to hear from you Bart!
I guess it has to do with windows 10 update, not router problem. Would be nice to see all the players with problems which windows version they are running.
I do have Windows 10 Home, Version 2004, Build 19041.610

Don't think it's due to router settings, I have enabled UPnP on my router and PB didn't create any dynamic rules (while some other games when launched did)

Thank you for update on this matter
