Im getting a CE everytime I open any demorecs, any idea what I could do?

I use no program, i just double click on it?

How it should work is by typing 'demoplay <filename>' in console while in game. It used to work OK, but the last time I tried I couldn't get it to work at all.
The problem might have (and I'm speculating here) something to do with the server side mods (such as the SAI). You might try to see if there's a difference between when you try to do it after joining a game through Assist and when you just launch armyops.exe on its own and try then.
This might not be the issue and might not help, just a wild speculation.

And Teddy i'll try it out later today, see what happens, but i guess i will still have CE :D

join a server in offline mode ie open urban_assault
whilst in there type demoplay demoname, should work.

Alright I tried Teddy's idea and Ares idea and none of them worked, still getting a critical error

First of all, nice processor :P
secondly, I tried it myself and for me I did get a message a file was missing.
Try to see if you make a demorec now if that works, maybe one of the updates made it fail

I don't think there was an update since 2 days ... I've always had this problem anyway, don't think it has anything to do with updates ... I will try it anyway

Hi, I can play demo when i record that demo but i have one big battle recorded in 2007 and i need to play that demo and i have no idea how. Its not able to play it on aa2.5assist ? If I type demoplay demo0052.dem that nothing happend...

You need to have the same version of the game as well as the maps.
I'm guessing it was SF Courtyard (I remember having those CY tourneys some time back then) and I doubt they've changed the map.
I googled America's Army version history (http://www.blitzteam.org/forums/index.php?topic=313.0 (http://www.blitzteam.org/forums/index.php?topic=313.0)) and it turns out it was version 2.8.0, 2.8.1 or 2.8.2 at that time(depending on time of year). You will have to find a link for the particular version of the game.
I know there is a link for 2.8 somewhere in these forums, you'll just have to find it.
