Title: Can't install on Linux
Post by: james_bondy on Friday, August 22, 2014, 06:29:22 AM
Assuming I am meant to execute the binary file, I get an error. Is the software only supported on 32 bit operating systems? Running Debian 7.6 64bit.

./25Assist
./25Assist: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Try this

"sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-0"

If this won't work try that agin "sudo apt-get install ia32-libs-gtk"

Yes, I have already installed that.

Like I was implying in my first post, do you know if this is 32 bit only? The second package is for 32bit OS':

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
ia32-libs-gtk : Depends: ia32-libs-i386 but it is not installable
Depends: ia32-libs-gtk-i386 but it is not installable
