In some sense I agree that there could be a separate tracking system for assist, but can you imagine how much work creating this would take?

BT works wonderfully and the only downside is the lack of admin activity over there. I don't see how it would be worth the time investment that would be required to make a tracker.

This +1. Its server based stats not player stats.
