Hi guys.
I'm new to AAO and I downloaded everything nicely. I can open up the game and it runs well without lag and I can go to the training missions. However, due to some kind of key compatibility problem, I can't use my key board to move around. I've tried to change the keys but it only seems to recognize "Mouse Y", "ALT", and "CAPS LOCK". My keyboard is a mac one and doesn't have num-keys. I have a Late 2011 Macbook Pro running OSX10.9.1. Any help is greatly appreciated. Sorry about his post, we're here to try to help, and his post wasn't helping. :)
On topic, do you have a non apple keyboard you can try?

Sorry, no.

Sorry, no.
Do you know anyone who might have one? I have a feeling AA just doesn't like your keyboard, and there isn't much we can do about it until we know if that's true or not.

I found an old windows keyboard with num-keys and it worked okay (not the best keyboard in the world), so I guess it's something to do with the mac...

Seems like not supported.

Can anyone comment on the performance on an Intel Mac, by referencing their specifications?
After seeing a post that this will work on Intel Mac I decided to try it on my maxed-out 2006 Macbook (integrated GPU), and all I get is 10 FPS, on lowest settings. I agree that I have a rubbish GPU by gaming standards, but this game was playable by most machines back in 2006. So why can't it be the same now?
What kind of FPS are people getting with Macbook Pro's 2010- ?

I was trying it on 'SF Hospital', but I think it will be the same all around.
From what I understand Assist was made to run via Wine, instead of Rosetta, but does that actually make any difference? You are still trying to run a virtual system in parallel, which does no good.
