I try to disable the SAI, because it takes up at least 1/4 of my screen. And it won't save. Edit my user.ini, doesn't save.
Is there a reason why the client isn't saving my settings? Anyone know? is this common? help!

I did it through assist, then went to settings and unchecked sai, close it and restarted assist should be gone

might not be the answer but have you tried running as administrator?

Just tried it again with running it as admin. the SAI will not go away.... wtf?

Your SAI might be bugged. It shouldn't take up 1/4 of the screen. Try to do a reset+repair AA in the install tab and see if that helps.

Weird works for me no promblem

Could it because I have a 28 inch monitor? idk..... this is strange. very strange indeed.

Not likely. Did you try what I suggested? There's a bug where the SAI is way too big and won't go away and usually a reset+repair AA fixes it.

I will have to try that, thanks. But still, in general the game will not save my settings. I need to completely re-install as you said.

ok. what happend when you copy the user.ini to your desktop, then edit and copy it back to system folder of aa2. this should work. try. good luck.
