I'm having trouble setting up a server. When I use the Assist Server Manager and create a new server I'm not filling out the "game password" so it stays blank.
When I connect to the server it asks for a password? Appreantly (from what I've seen in .ini) it generates an game password?
Can anyone explain and/or help? Thanks in advance!

Assist generates server passwords so that non-Assist users cannot connect accidentally to the server. You need to use Assist for both the game server and client.

I do Spanky, I'm running Assist Server Manager 8.0.9 and on my computer AA 2.5 Assist 8.12
But how and/or why does the client know the server password?
I'm btw on the AAO25 TeamSpeak at the moment.

That's a good question. I'm not sure how the client knows the password, must be something in the authorization server. It's not a super secret thing, just to avoid letting non-Assist users in is all, back before the official authorization was disabled.
So you're connecting to your server with the Assist server list. Can you show us a screenshot of the problem?

Ahaaaahhh
So it does automaticly at itself to the Assist Deploy serverlist :D
I DIDNT KNOW THAT! I tought I had to apply the server but appearently also alot has been changed for the servers.
Spanky, thanks a lot, my issue is solved now ;) This topic can be closed

One of Assist's goals is to make it insanely easy to play. Edit a few optional boxes, start server, wait for it to update and config all by itself. Open Assist, login, let it update, join server.
No more messing around with Punkbuster or any of that junk that made you want to pull your hair out back in the day.
