Server port error
« on: Tuesday, December 27, 2016, 17:08:28 PM »
Hi, so I have a server online and it (the service) never crashes however, after a while, the server ceases to exist and players drop, due to the following error:
Quote
Ongoing port test error

I'm pretty sure I enabled all the ports and even tried to open the server with firewall down and still occurs the same problem. With that in mind, I dont think it's firewall related. What else could it be? Server was fine for a few days and no changes were made to the system itself. Im puzzled.

Thanks in advance.

I also think its general. Since just before Christmas, I've been seeing this behavior on a lot of servers hosted by different providers. They're running fine and, out of the blue, they disappear. I think something has changed in assist or battletracker that's making this happen.

Nothing has changed in Assist.

Thanks for the responses.

It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever but I think I solved it by changing path to server back to relative instead of absolute. hasn't had any problem since.

False alarm. Still happens and I have no clue why. Tried server on the side (diff service provider) and still happened. Maybe its a problem with Ubuntu 16? But still, it was online for quite a lot of time before giving problems so I dont think it's related =\
