now i have a question.
is it still possible to disable some maps on a server.
i guess not, right?
because if i delete one, the map checker is installing it again :)
any ideas?
would be nice to get some help about that
thank you.

Mapcycle... only type there those you want to cycle.
-
yes, this i know. but in the past, i guess it was possible to cancel some maps by deleting them.
am i wrong ? - i didn't used it at all, but i think i did something read about that.
but thank you anyway for the fast feedback.

Yea, just delete them or move them to another folder on the server. When a silly admin tries to move the server to Bridge, Urban Assault, Pipeline or any other boring map, the server will restart on the last map or get sent to Insurgent Camp (I've seen this many times, it must be a hard-coded default or something...).

The problem is, Spanky, that Assist now checks if all the maps are correct (and if they're there at all I guess) at start. So the only way I could see this working is if you start Assist first and then delete the maps in question.

Last I checked, the server won't do that. I could be wrong but I've done this in the past on my servers to save disk space and prevent twats from switching to crap maps.

i did try this, but after starting assist, the check recognized that the map is missing and it stated to download again.
but thanks anyway for the answer about.
