Title: How does AA Assist lookup the servers?
Post by: zjapske on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, 14:43:31 PM
I host a server myself. From the LAN network i can't join my own server. How does AA assist ping the server? I can make in my router a NAT policy to translate my WAN Ip back towards my server pc. So i can reroute the traffic. But is there a possibility that is work? I don't know how AA assist the ping. When i look from my normal pc is my own server offline.

thx,
Jaap

You need a loopback NAT setup and you need to make sure all ports are forwarded that are in the server setup in the forums.

should be not a problem when you do open the ports 1716-1718. but at your router, you have to bind them with your hosters pc ip address. it works on my side with that.
