When i launch the 25 assist server and it does its thing it always wants to open a web browser up . i uninstalled chrome thinking it was that and then it just open it up in explorer so im trying to figure out what could be causing this?
I installed a new hard drive the server and just put 25 assist on it and it didnt open the web browser up at all so could someone help me out with this issue because i really dont want to have to redo my server and wipe it clean just for one game . we host over 15 games on server and setting them back up would be a pain .

Your default programs are messed up. I'm not sure if there's a way to reset all of them but that's the general direction you need to look.

yeah weird thing tho is it only does it with 25 assist . proving grounds dont do it nor does any of our other servers we start up . Just aa 2.5

I believe Assist launches AA via a URL added to the command line. Probably something like armyops://127.0.0.1:1337
Maybe ELiZ can clarify this.

im so sorry, it is 2.8.5 server launcher that is opening multiple browsers so i guess ill have to try and find a forum on AA that may still support 2.8.5 server help . 25assist is actually running fine . its 2.8.5 server opening browser windows up

My idea still stands though. It's going to have to be an issue that YOU fix, nobody supports 2.8.5.

i just have to go deeper in our server files because the owner has a AAmod on the 2.8 server where you shot weird things out of the guns . I just launched the mod instead of game and it launched window so i have it narrowed down to the mod being the cause now i jsut have to figure out why . because yeah like you said no one messes with 2.8 anymore. thanks for help and you guys can do what you want with this topic . its complete / done
