I had a server on vilayer . Cancelled after 1 month. No reply on question no further help to set up server correctly.

my server is still on nitrado.net but if I cancel my payment there they don't provide servers for assist anymore since last year.
Maybe if you ask them they can still hook you up with a decent server to rent.
There's not much choice left if you want to rent.
The only provider still offering assist servers :

on a typical night  I have like 15 players online  during 4-5 hours.
the amount of PB-kicks is sad. so manny people try to join and have this problem.
they join and give up.
I've had PB -issues myself but i just had to reboot my pc after doing the pb-fix.
for the rest I've had no problems playing this game in the last year and we're free of the annoying servercrashes to.

Hi all AA 2.5 lovers.

Remember the times we had a few thousand of players on this game online daily.
I wonder why we can't promote the game through social media??
Although i barely played AAPG- I see lot of advertisments for it through social media.(yes there's more money behind AAPG atm, i know)
BUT I see a lot of people willing to support the advertisements and willing to jump in to promote 2.5 again.
As it is the only version you can play on a Mac- it should be great to let those old AA'ers jump in this game again. Not that I can complain , I set up my server In corona times and when i hop on after 1 hour there's 20+ people playing the game again on an old school way. And some people find the joy again of playing this game in the late hours while their wives are asleep  :D
So my suggestion to be more tactical on social media promotions and i'm willing to help with

I think he tries to say that the way you have to make a new account to play is not efficient and we lose players because when someone downloaded the game and installed it they want to register and play immediatly and not wait on an admin to approve his account.
but i'm sure you probably have your reasons why it's not setup like that.  :D

 ICON+Rage of the elite pipeline server runs smooth.
I was able to play long sessions again only since I have this protected server. I think alot of people apreciate a smooth gameplay.

I don't need a noob to look for "security holes" and test how you can put a whole community down.
we all know how we can crash our pc's...
it's like installing a hack and when banned afterward saying  i only installed to see what it does...
You know what a cpu overload tool does and you know what a hack does.
STAY AWAY FROM IT.

Cpt.Blei You could easily discuss it with other serverowners if you really think this was a security issue...its not....
the only security issue is the admin of the server itself....you!  :mad:
Merlin took appropriate action by cancelling his servers because the trust is gone...

I mean a hacker can probably shut down the whole game by hacking the sites.... but should we allow a hacker to do this to proof that he can??
I don"t think so.

if the community doesn't ban you ,than  I already did it on my  ddos and now lagg free server thanks to merlin .

Hey Alex, or whomever in charge of bans reads this.

I have known joe131 since I was 15 years old and over 20 years later I can say that he enjoys banter in game, and a little too much at times. I have been unable to play as of the last few months but from what I heard Joe got banned for doxxing someone which I understand isn't something that should be allowed. I am just hoping you can realize how emotions can get the best of us, and sometimes we do things that we later regret(unfortunately only after there are consequences). I am writing this in hopes you can give joe one more chance to just play the game, which is honestly 1 of only 2 games hes played throughout his life. So you can imagine how much this means to him, despite how he acts. I will put my account on the line and if joe gets banned again I am willing to be banned as a consequence. Please consider my words, thank you.

Alkos, YaYa, isn't one of Joe's other accounts, he's a friend of Joe. I've played with YaYa many times. :) As much as I would like to make a comment to Joe's ban thread, it's kinda understandable that the comments are turned off. It would get like the chat box otherwise... xD
