Games & Programming / Re: Help creating a simple GUI (C++)
« on: Monday, December 09, 2013, 22:28:43 PM »
Most people I know use VS, but why C++? You make a windows app?

Implying C++ can only make GUI window's app's?

If using strictly windows http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms632679%28v=vs.85%29.aspx

if you want multi-platform , go with QT

& if you want I have a source code of a tic tac toe game i wrote in c++ that has a GUI based on windows api functions

you should also note that if youre going to be displaying this information, use htmlentities() to prevent xss /csrf attacks. Unless of course its already filtered from when spanky extracts it. Either way it can't hurt =D

His code, & since Assist isn't Open-Source development, I suppose Johnny owns the copyright (For the code he wrote at least)

Also you could look at it this way, gives a chance for someone else to step up and re-code AA 2.5. Im sure homey would still let that person use his API for battletracker.

 instead of that , think about quitting tracker once for all , it has been the main cause of :
-dirty and anoying camping even when isn't needed , just for 'fragrate'
-ghost from clans ..to get higher stats ...
-hacks , people buy / download it so they can been seen has pros in battletracker.. imo.

No. Bad idea. Legit players enjoy seeing their stats too. I would never ever pub if there wasn't a tracker.

You guys should train more aswell tho, I never see headhunterz scrim and I only see most of them on IC only.. when I asked you guys for scrim (maybe not you) they immediatly said no and called me a hacker
Don't take it in a negative way... maybe make a good solid team with atleast 8 scrimmers so next time you guys don't have to pull out

You mean for once the shoe is on the other foot and someones calling you a hacker. HA

Not like the accounts are clogging up YOUR database (which i think is pathetic that you still use homies site as an auth. Just allows more potential for an exploit in homies site to be revealed and ur whole AA auth is ruined. Code your own auth asap ^.^). So why does it bother you?

So lets say im playing a nice bright map like mAAp pipeline, then they change the server to mout, I now would have to leave the server change the brightness and rejoin.

This is absurd, who even offered to include this feature?

Also Im not looking for an advantage id just like to be able to actually see on the darker maps.

P.s. Its not an advantage if everyone has the ability to modify the gamma and contrast. Your lazyness to lower the contrast or raise the gamma to see better is your own fault / "disadvantage"

No reasoning? From what I've seen on the shout box ( skimmed through ) you did it to level out the playing field so no one has an advantage.. Bogus reason. Now people would have nice lcd monitors can see fine while others have to suffer.

Just because it looks good and visible on your screen does not mean it is the same for the 100+ other players.

You disallowed the editing of these? Why on earth would you ever do that? Now everything is dark for me because my monitor is a POS. What possible reason would you ever disable them?

EDIT: Please note I do appreciate all the modifications and work you did to make 2.5 work again, and I thank you for that.
