Is it possible to make the assist icon on the top left corner link to the actual forums and not have the "click here to go to forum" ?

AA Support / Sound issues with windows 10

Hi everyone long time no see !

I really need help re my sound in AA.

When I last played AA i was on XP and had an xfi sound card and had awesome sound.

Now I am using windows 10 and haven't been able to get my sound right (I can't hear footsteps in the vicinity etc) I have an onboard sound card which is quite good considering the mobo is an asus ranger vii - driver is also up to date.

I know there were issues with AA sound on windows 7/8 and was wondering if there is a fix in order for me to play normal AA :(

Any help is greatly appreciated

Assist Support / Assist always loading game files when opened

Hi all,

I have recently installed a new GFX Card.

Since then, when opening Assist, it is always loading all the gamefiles (like when you open assist for the first time)

[It says verifying....................]

It has become frustrating because it takes a whole long and is very slow.

Can anyone point me in the direction to rectify this issue?

Have been active for the past few weeks now and was thinking about joining a clan.

Support / AA crashes when joining server

Hi all

I downloaded AA again after some years inactive.

When I join a server nowadays, my pc crashes after a couple of seconds whilst making a buzzing sound. I always have to do a restart after it.

I don't have a high end pc to today's standards but I used to play aa before and it never gave me this problem.

Drivers and DirectX are up to date also.

Any help is vry appreciated

Thanks Mad, Brahva and Gunny next time just ask me and I will tell you what happen I don't to and TK people at random, you know me and I stay on my lane never bother anyone. At the most I will bitch about the maps but I never start problems with people. Apparently they like to start trouble with me and I refuse to lay down for anyone.

Please bear in mind that I was on the opposite team, so I literally couldn’t see exactly what was going on in the first 20-30 seconds of the round. Thanks Chidori, that wasn’t the information I had at the time. I heard shooting, I heard the rounds, and then a moment later I saw the friendly fire and death message in the top left. Obviously I put 2 and 2 together and made 5 with the lack of clear information that I had at the time. Also remember that there were two other admins (Madstoner and Intro. Madstoner was on your team so would have potentially witnessed it), but I don’t see you mention any of them...

He even admitted that he TK because he did not like people being stuck in the doorway, which I had no control over. So speak up, and tell me why you did not kick him. But you chose to kick me? So again, you like to play the drama queen role as you are the victim when you clearly know what you are doing.
