Did someone mess with this because something i never noticed before is happening round after round. Assault Beta always gets the message "Get the briefcase to 9th Street west extraction" even when Assault Alpha has the case. In other words, its never a random extraction for Assault Beta.  Everytime Assault Beta has the case they always extract it to 9th Street West Extraction. Also the Military does not use  "Beta". They use Alpha, Bravo,Charlie etc...

So Assault Beta should actually be Assault Bravo

Hey guys. Just wanted to give a heads up to everyone. Please be on the lookout for the symptoms of flu this year. Influenza A is beginning to be a massive hit in Texas right now. It's not being publicized, but a new strand called H3N1 is spreading across Texas atm. This is mutated version of H1N1 is even more destructive and transmitted easier than previous Influenza Strains. Guys im serious in saying if this or any kind of Influenza starts making news where you live (yeah they still call it just the regular Influenza) to start protecting yourself.

You can always head to the cdc website at http://www.cdc.gov/ for more information on how to protect yourself. Although noone can say what is a definate way to do so, there are some steps that can help you from contracting this years season of Flu. Now im not over reacting. You can say i am but guys understand the seriousness in this. Last year 25% of the earths population (52 million people) was infected by the flu, and at that the flu that was not of the mutated form. This new mutated version of it is getting ready to hit hard. Also for a FYI i just got news that my aunt passed away about 45 mins ago from this (shes been on a ventilator for 3 days) and i have a step dad who is in ICU for 2 days for the same thing. It's coming hard so be ready.

As for the steps im taking. Pretty simple steps to help in the protection. Surgical Masks and Hand Sanitizer. This is just steps im taking to help protect myself and my family from this. This is just a heads up guys, this new flu virus is going hard.

Ok let me give some background. upon entering the server it was 2 80 honors against 2 40's on bridge the server was -]DFA[- I Asked player Ategev if he would like to switch sides cause its unbalanced for 2 80's to play 2 40's. he said he would kick my @$$ off of bridge to which i replied ok. anyways so he started talking crap cause wifey was on assault and me on def saying i was selfish and sorry for leaving her on defense. so after 2 rds i switch back to assault to help them out cause they was getting owned and he starts tk'ing me over and over and then started tk'ing wifey. the whole dev part he was saying is because he said something like i know your type. i responded what? ex dev now mod type. theres no reason to keep tk'ing me to which he responded no your the selfish type wanting to be a def camper. so i dont know what this guys problem is.

mAAp Project / MP_BREAKOUT UPDATES

hey there players. i just wanted to inform those who didnt know that im currently updating the map Breakout. The map seemed a lil one sided to me (In Def's Favor), so i decided to do a rebuild and make things more fun on the map and add some zest to it. it was a great map and always will be, but i think this version will be more enjoyable for all players. So here i will share a few screenshots of what i have. I will also post what i fixed, what i added and what else needs to be done to make it 100% ready. at its current stage i would say its 99% ready. so here we go


Fixed:
Zone Issues (zone portals, etc...)
Optimization
Nade Count (use to be 4, now its 1 per player and theres a few roles that may have 2 nades, but lost 1 flash)
Report In Locations (there use to be like 4-6, now i have about 15-20 unique report in locations)


Added:
New Textures (walls,flooring,etc..)
A 3rd way to access 2nd floor
Visual Effects
Working Forklift (Forks Go Up And Down)
Carriable Objective To Extract (spawns in 3 random places)
Rearranged Some Rooms
2 small easter eggs (just something to smile at)
As stated above, More Report In Locations :)

Whats Needed:
Currently Both Objectives Read "Objective A", I Will Be Fixing This Tomorrow
Im wanting to make a 4th random spawn point (to add more battles on 1st floor corridor)

Bug Reports / critical error

this just starting happening about 2 hours ago. I keep getting criticals whenever i try to join a server. I have tried probably 20 different times and even deleted everything and did a clean install and im still getting them when loding into a server. This is what it says

General Chat / Breakout Fixes

I was asked if there could be any fixes for the map Breakout and to post my thoughts. Now im not going to go overboard but imma try to keep this straight to the point and fair for both teams. This is my honest opinion for the map.


1: Def spawn point
Currently the spawn points are ok, except 1 thing. theres usually 1 or 2 players who may be afk and since they are in certain spots, it makes it difficult and very annoying getting out of spawn cause they block the doors (again this is when they are idle) my suggestion is the 1 door that faces the hallway (the one with the big screen tv in it and the couches) needs a bigger door opening. That way we atleast have 1 definate way out if there is a player afk infront of the door. Maybe make it a double wide door frame. That would be perfect. ****NOTE: This also includes the doorway from hallway by restrooms that enters into TV Room

2: There are just too many nades. This could be fixed one of 2 ways.
1st: Limit each player to 2 nades each and add a flash for each player
2nd: Allow 1 Player in each squad to have 2 nades but up the other players flashes to 4 each (except the ones that have nades, they should have 2 flashes OR 1 flash and 1 Incend)
spanky's suggestion was 15 flashes, lmao he must love flashes :/

3: can we have maybe 1 or 2 spots on both teams that can have another choice of weapon? Maybe like SF with no 203 nades OR a AK Maybe even a shotgun (it is CQB after all)?

4: Now this isnt a map problem, but i think a general game play problem, can anything be done about prone glitch?

5: possibly add a dim light in the stairwell at top? maybe just brighten the lights in there just a tad.

Another suggestion, but not very important, on table in assault spawn and in def spawn (Tv room), can maybe a shotgun or 2 and a m9 or 2 be added on the table for players to pick up and use if they wish? If thats going a lil too far then disregard it :)

I can think of others when i have more time. but these are the things i think (in my opinion) would be great fixes. Especially the decrease in nades and the door being made wider.

We have begun to make this map very popular lately and i think these fixes will make it more enjoyable for eveyone

Hey there, just wanted to let everyone know that i bought a dedicated server today and got everything up and running smooth. I like the updated Assist, thanks for all ur hard work giving us this update. But i have a quick question concerning the new anti-poke kick (may be old for some but im just now experiencing this) so the server is ofcourse unmodded and runs great but about 12:02am cst we had a server of about 20 people playing pipeline. All of a sudden i get kicked from the server and totally out of assist with a brief message talking about check my firewalls and something doing with anti-poke. a few of my clanmates and a few other players also got this one after another. is this expected to happen from time to time? does the bug need to be worked out of the update or is this just something that was a coincidence? Any input would be helpful, thanks again

Server Support / Mutate Question

is there a way to change the default setting for Forceclass Live Weapon? What i speak of is this. When i start the server with this checked, i actually have to join the server to do a "Mutate Normal" to get the setting to be true. I also have to redo it it each time i switch maps. Im wondering if i can have that checked, and have it be defaulted to "True" upon server starting up of map change so i dont have to rejoin the server each time to change it to true
