Well... interestingly enough... I just removed again the installer and downloaded files, re-downloaded the client and now everything is working, no need for workaround.

Great!

Assist Support / Assist Windows Client stuck on Verifying StaticMeshes\M-285.usx
« on: Saturday, August 25, 2018, 12:39:04 PM »
These are the steps I executed:

1. Downloaded the Windows client from the download link provided in the top menu, (Sourceforge)
2. When running the client I found the problem of not being able to download the content and showing the pop-up error that my internet connection is not working.
3. I searched the forums and found the workaround about replacing "sourceforge" for "aa25.com" in the settings.dat. I applied it and it worked.
4. Content was downloaded.
5. When the client goes to verify the content, it is always getting stuck in :

Verifying StaticMeshes\M-285.usx

I've already tried the following, without success:

1. Cleared the %APPDATA%\25Assist folder, applied workaround and re-download content
2. Re-Downloaded the client and attempted step 1 above.

Thanks in advance for your support to solve this issue.

I just tried the windows client for the first time and found the same problem.
Changing the settings.dat file solved the problem.

It's been more than 3 years since the original post of the reported issue, can't this be changes in the source and rebuild the binary?

Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. Just re-installed 25Assist and the login screen is showing an unknown user/pass, however I can successfully login in the battletrack website.

Server Support / Re: Links to Server Dowload and ReadMe's

I downloaded the Linux Assist Server Manager (8.19.1), then I clicked on "Create a new server", Assist Server Manager downloads all the files and after uncompressing it shows:

"En exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application mush shut down."

If I remove everything and start from scratch it does it again.

Running on Ubuntu 16.04. Assist Client is working fine.

Any recommendations?

Thanks
