Linux, Mac, and Windows sitrep pages will look a little different from each other.

If you're able to ping the master server, but then you cannot get server information I have no idea what could be wrong. Are you connected using a router? Can you try a quick direct connection to your modem if so?

If you are using the GUI, check the advanced options, it is in there. If you use the aa25 server ini file, open it and check [Engine.GameEngine]. The server package lines are there for the mods. Remove the ; from the front to enable.

General Chat / Re: sound in win7
« on: Friday, July 20, 2012, 15:16:08 PM »
If anybody who has 7 and problems with sound, it would be advisable that they try out for themselves to fix it. It's understandable for 7 to have differences because it uses WASAPI primarily, but I do assume the solution is to find good and proper drivers.

I use 7 but do not have sound issues. And I can verify because I can swap back and forth between my laptop with 7 and desktop with XP.

Just popping in to say, it is not Windows 7 fault, or Windows XP, or America's Army fault for subpar sound. It is the users fault for not understanding how to properly install their system software correctly. Especially with an Operating System like Windows, the jump from XP to 7 is not going to change any aspect of sound or video on an old game like America's Army (jumping to 7 can only improve newer games created for the advantages in 7). The big if here is if your computer does not meet the minimum requirements to smoothly run 7, you cannot blame the operating system.

If anyone tells you that Windows 7 has messed up their sound in America's Army, please punch them in the mouth because they do not know what they are talking about (and I doubt there are a large majority with this problem, that would be ridiculous). Unless there is that small chance there is the one guy who seriously has hardware problems running 7, but that would mean it affects everything including AA.

Remember to step back, leap, and look at the larger picture.

Shiiiieeet, I haven't seen that sfc command in a long while. That's like a Microsoft certified response.

BTW, not every light fixture needs a light actor if you can get away with it visually. There is a strange limitation to the number of lights (and also zones).

And btw, do you guys really need to create a new thread for such things? Please, are you guys still in kinda garden?
