It's been a minute. Several years even. Cool to see you guys are still here, although in terms of my account, I don't remember my credentials or if my account even survived the system change. I'd like to get some help getting up and running again. Cheers!

Yeah, it really has been a while, hasn't it? Thanks, good to be back! I've been getting the itch to hip-fire rpks, cook grenades too long, and destroy office computers.

Just to clarify: There will be no custom maps for 285 Assist?

Woah, woah, woah. The point is, don't edit your ini. It will cause problems and get you banned. There is no solution for jams, besides clearing them when they occur. Enjoy the game.

Anyone noticed that on [mAAp] Shipment, team models are screwed, i mean, you see your own teammates using enemy clothes. At least everyone were reporting the same thing when i was on the server.

Fixed. I set friendly meshes and skins to default Soldier rather than OpInfantry. File is in dropbox and ready to go up.

I could have asked for this before I rolled back hosp, but I did not wanted to bother ppl with hospital again :P

[mAAp]SFHospital is ready to go up.

Although, I forgot to copy and rename the briefings, but I need to sleep and I have class in like 4 hours, heheh.

Taken care of.

It's hopeless. The ww roof bugs they are complaining about are _the same_ bugs that exist in the esc bld floors. There are spots in both sides, where you see distant opfor, but he cant see you.

The mistery is why people only complain about ambush side, while the escort side has the same characteristics.

With all of this in mind, here's what I have to say:

There are many glitches that players can do (like the prone glitch, and the less-commonly-known lean shot which does the same thing as the prone glitch). Anyway, the point is that this is a game glitch, not a glitch specific to the West Wing roof, therefore the railings are an unnecessary hindrance to player mobility.

All of this aside, I still intend to have a 32-slot version of Hospital available in addition to the original.

Good luck with that. Spanky and I couldn't even replicate the bug. It's difficult to fix something you can't see happen.

Exactly. I have never heard of this roof bug in all my time of playing this game. Never. I'd like to see a video or something, because the only information I have is "roof bug."

My best guess is that what people are referring to is that in this version of the game, the first-person eye level is higher than the third-person eye level. This means that, in some cases, you can go prone, peek over an edge, and no one can see you. It's a situation where you can fire on someone and they cannot hit you. There is a spot like this North Outside in Pipeline looking toward the west entrance.

If this is the "roof bug," then messing with the roof will solve nothing, because it's an element of the game and can happen in plenty of other places.

Someone please explain EXACTLY what the roof bug is and how you do it. I'm going to try and fix it without the exaggerated player blocking volumes.

The modified version will be called [mAAp]SF Hospital

Maybe its possible to make both versions playable? Original SF Hospital and  the edited map with railings as [mAAp] Hospital ?
Problem solved ;)

I could see a mAAp version of Hospital in which there are 32 slots, however I would make a poll for railings vs no railings on ww roof.
