Over the next several days, e-mails will be going out to addresses that have been gathered from AA Drama, Assist and this site. This is an effort to bring in some new users and also remind old ones that we're still here. Assist has been around quite a while and those that played in the beginning might not be playing today. We're hoping that this e-mail encourages people to get back on and see what has been going on with the project.
So, we welcome you, new or old, welcome to America's Army :style:

Yep, you can. Almost all servers run standard mode and the one that don't aren't that populated. You may see an occasional ForceClass by the server's respective administrators but you'll soon enough find this practice isn't at all occurrent.

I'm a bit worried about the mass email. Did the spam bots get them too?
I recently managed to get Age of Empires II running again, so I think I can get 2.5 working too. How big is the patch?

Vikraal :D Long time no see. Assist & AA 2.5 is about 4GB extracted, probably around 1GB compressed (download).
I don't recall the last time you played but all you have to do is grab Assist from the links on this site and it will take care of the rest.

Yeah its been a while. I think its been 6 years since I stopped playing.
I rather prefer a torrent if its possible, or depending on the connection it could take 3hrs.

Torrent isn't really possible. All the data is on SourceForge. Good news for you though, it's not a single download, there's a lot of packages that come together to make the whole install.

there doesn't seem to be an option to where I choose to download, unless it will download all the files where ever I have installed AA2.5?

It downloads 2.5 for you but if you have 2.5 already, you can do a "FIND" installation and it will copy your 2.5 over and then update it.

By default, Assist will install AA in the default location in your windows' App Data folder. You can also have it install where 25Assist.exe is. Look at the first and second questions in the FAQ:

I started the game with 2.3 which came to me on a freebie disk. It was my first fps game on the only computer capable of playing games like these.
At some point my internet started to improve from 6.4kb/s to 12.8 to 25.6 to 100kb/s. So I downloaded other versions.
This computer is incapable of playing AA3, so I have never touched it.
I'm still up for a game, though I probably would need to learn to be trigger happy, especially if bridge is no longer a favourite map.

I believe people still play Bridge daily. But it's not the most popular map right now.
I hope you have a better connection that that nowadays, though.

I totally MisRead AoE2 for AA2. Somehow.
Well I have modded my game to hold 999 of food, wood and 9999 of gold, stone and berries.
I have yet to go Multiplayer to see if these settings would work with other players.

My connection remains at 100kb/s - 120kb/s. It goes upto 1mb/s to 10mb/s on some torrents, and used to or probably still does on youtube and some websites. Pings may vary though.
