Title: Sourceforge causing problems.
Post by: ELiZ on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, 11:47:06 AM
Since an hour sourceforge.net is experiencing problems.
I activated our backupsystem and all clients should be able to log on again.

A problem was apparent, that even with the backupserver online, some functions on the server side didn't work. Map name and startup of a new server is impossible, until sourceforge.net is back to full functionality.

I've fived the issue for the next version(8.18), but with all the problems atm, now is not the time to start distributing new files.

ONLY for Servers
As a server owner, you can manually download a updated current version of 8.17, that has the fixes included.

I've included server.exe for windows, and server-bin for Linux servers(You will have to set the flags yourself in Linux on the executable).
Place the file for your OS in the System folder.

you have to copy the server.exe downloaded to each server /system/server.exe - you have to overwrite it. therefor you must stop the server.
ok?
