As of today and since there have been some serious abuses or tentative of it by stupid players wanting to ban those more naives... EditObj won't be banned permanently just for typing it in console/chat.
For those that are reading this for the first time, EditObj is a console command that allows the game to popup a "incorporated cheat" where you can remove recoil, etc etc. Assist have been banning just for typing it in console or chat, it will keep banning you for 1 day but we Admins, won't keep that ban longer as long it's only that command typed, other strings will still get you banned permanently.
Anyway, people proven that keep harassing others to type this and watch them get banned for 1 day will get their account banned as it shows lack of fair-play.

I never typed that command but i wish to hope that players who will still type
this command won't be able to use the functions of the menu ?!

Does the game pickup players who automatically select a hack from that menu?
