Sorry for the several-hour delay. We are still not sure what caused it but the servers filled back up and the forums have new posts!

is it just a coincidence that they both went down and came back around the same times?

As far as I know it is just a coincidence. My web hoster's whole server went down, none of his sites were accessible and some threw SQL errors just before dying fully. Funny thing is, FTP was working fine the whole time.

Yeah I noticed every once in a while when i would try and access the site it would give me a 503 error. As for the auth server i can see the serverlist on the site but i still cant connect to the auth server. Not really worried Im sure it will be fixed by the time i wake up tomorrow

There's a bunch of issues with this site still... I think my FTP sync program screwed me over and started deleting stuff. I had to restore a bunch of things from a backup 8 days ago already.

Ouch. Hopefully this isnt a preview of an AA Armageddon. Or maybe this is part of your crazy plot to kill the game... I'm keepin my eye on you :o

If this was part of my plot, I wouldn't be rushing to restore these files so users don't complain :D

search for "19/06/2012 maintenace" and you will see that alot of sites planned maintenance this day lol.

Looks like Auth is still down. Players In Game hasn't changed at all and nobody can login yet.

I think the Auth program itself is malfunctioning and has to be reset. The server list isn't updating and that's why the Players & Servers online here is stuck. It's not updating this: http://auth.aa25.org/srvlist.txt

Seems that this crash could last longer. BTW...did anyone try to connct with the AA2 Deploy Client for the "Old Game"??
Guess what?: It doesnt work anymore!!!! Could this has to say something?
