I've made Twitter and Facebook accounts for AAO25. *EDIT* August has setup an X-Fire group for AA25 as well! Here are the official accounts:
https://twitter.com/#!/AAO25com
http://www.facebook.com/AAO25com
http://www.xfire.com/communities/aa25/ -Thanks August.
Any news items posted in this forum will automatically be sent to those accounts as well.
To any admins; if you would like access to the accounts, just PM me and I can give you admin on Facebook and access to Twitter.

Needs 25 likes to make a fb url. Everyone like the Facebook page.
-
Blue, I've made you admin of the Facebook page. I'm not too familiar with Facebook and had a helluva time trying to set that up. Seems like they made a new layout for pages -_-
-
I'll poke around it. It'll be the first time I'm using the new layout too, le sigh. It's gonna need a wide cover photo (banner at the top). Could use the photoshopped image of square we use for this site. What do you think?
The cover photo width must always be 851px wide to look normal. Max height is 315px I think.

Do whatever you want :)
-
Liked on facebook :)
-
I don't have a Facebook account but i'll follow on Twitter.
-
Nice work. Liked on FB.
Also, here is the Xfire group http://www.xfire.com/communities/aa25/
-
Thank you August, I will add it to the original post.
-
I don't really use Xfire anymore, but I joined the group off the Xfire site.

Same here :)

Spanky, should we set the facebook url to AAO25com? AAO25 is not available. Once we set it, it can't be changed.
-
AAO25com is fine then. Unless you think of something else.
-
It has been done. Welcome to https://www.facebook.com/AAO25com
Do you have a PSD of the AAO25 logo? I'm going to make the cover photo.
Made something that looks close enough.

The facebook page is for this site bro. AAO25.com is not AA 2.5. Take some deep breaths and relax.
-
In a certain way I understand your frustration Brussels, but maybe you guys should try to work together?

Again, you seem to want to go for 2.8, not 2.5. (America's Army 2 doesn't include 1.0...) I don't understand a lot of the stuff you want to do that you think will revive AA2. Interviews with a random player? Cash for likes on Facebook? I don't see how that stuff brings in new people. But here, we're actively working with the community and the game, improving both. Granting people honor requests, helping people out with installation problems, improving with custom maps and security updates to Assist.
I'm not trying to work against you, I'm simply working to expand AAO25. The Facebook account will have news posted to it from this site automatically. I gave admins here access to do anything they want. We have control over it to broadcast what we want. If you wanted to help, you could have at least offered to make some of us admins on that account so we could have posted official news.

Guys, you need to work together. Find a way to work together.
-
just ignore Brusselts.
