Just a thought... Streaming or casting some of the top teams would be beneficial content for YouTube. In addition, the aascrimeu writers should work on their grammar and spelling.

To me the lack of content appears more striking that the form, because i honestly have little interest in visiting it. Neverthless the news are filled with spelling mistakes (having another person to counter check your draft makes wonders, i mean it).
I expected a little more activity in the forums but apparently players aren't that willing to chit-chat.
You should go on with those teams members interviews, i can think of at least a couple of players i used to know that might agree to record an audio interview or anything you can add to make it more complete (which involves preparing yourself a script and the person/people you're going to interview, plenty of time needed of course).

I remember when the competitive scene was dying in NA some experienced players started casting on e-rev which allowed the game to be noticed by cevo like it was in the past. I really think winter league should utilize this form of advertisement for the game. With that being said, these need to be quality videos with experienced casters who have in game experience.

Again, he speaks pure gold. If you're going to record a crappy video at low resolution or laggy sound or inject heavy metal soundtracks into it... don't even bother. Whoever records should do it in 720p or higher and just trim real live gameplay.

I agree, but we do need people able to cast/ who have experience with it. I will look into it later.

u guys shud have let us teams in........i dont see any reason why not.....
u are letting play even ppl with hacking history......
most of us have ping around 30 which is still playable
if this still bothers u.u can set a ping limit....like players with ping above 35 are not allowed to play
u have official winter league servers so noone ll be pushed to play in us server
i read somewhere that u dont like us players argue or smthing so just give em penalty points like in esl.....
we should try to help na players...try to be nice cmone guys
there is not much ppl left in aao so why hate????

Arguing this point is useless here. For us United States players, we can only hope that the community grows through this tournament. Thus, my overall reasoning for quality shout casts.

maybe i am a noob, because i did not check how to settle a scrim at winter league.
but maybe you can help me.
it is hopefully not true, that we have do settle the scrims over post's, right?
if so, then change that very fast. otherwise, no one will start to play.
i am waiting for 3 days of an answer about to start with opposite Team, but .......
i hope at this Forum i get an answer soon.

Well, I think if the some of the teams won't reply to the opponents before Tuesday, I will give a forfeit against them.

too bad this league took so long to start, many teams went offline, now probably 1/4 of the teams are idle

So from each group ll advance 4 teams?
and the points are not points for win in match?but points for each won rnd???
than will be playofs and please how is it with the maps in playofs??each rnd u can pick from all maps or map from last rnd is eliminated?

I would love to see 2 best teams from each group advance into playoff brackets. Not 4. Then there is almost no reason to play group stage with so many teams advancing :D Imho it could be like playing again 2 maps at once and the maps would be chosen by teams again like it is in the group stages. But for the playoff your map choice history would be deleted so you can select again maps you already played in the group. But for the next playoff round you cannot select that map again. That is just a thought. Maybe tidi has a system already thought out :)

When the results will finally be updated on the site of the winterleague???
We already played 6 from our 8 matches, none of our scores is being confirmed by admin or reported in results eventough our result is posted next to our match ( the place where u can type to find out when to play against your enemy )
Hope this will be done fast.. not cool to play a tournament like this and not knowing what the results of the others are.
