Kody was generous and passed on his "old" camera to me, it replaced my incredibly aging and failing Sony DSC-S600 so it was quite an upgrade. This thread will be a tip of the hat to Kody as none of these pictures (or the fun had while taking them) would be possible. Thanks Kody.

The photos look nice. Nice focus on the bird in the first one and the second one reminds me of those old windows vista wallpapers. The third one would benefit from trying some hdr on it.

I like it, it would be nice if some thing in the foreground was visible though. It would give the pic a sense of scale.

Wikipedia:
The size of the stop is one factor that affects depth of field. Smaller stops (larger f numbers) produce a longer depth of field, allowing objects at a wide range of distances to all be in focus at the same time.

So, small f stop numbers for more blurry objects for great sense of depth?
