Title: Map Removal - Sniper Canyon, Terminal Conflict and Urban Defense

Removing these 3 maps will reduce download size for mAAp. They are also maps that don't get played much. Sniper Canyon makes for long and boring rounds. Terminal Conflict is a 2.8 conversion that just takes way too long in terms of round length. Urban Defense is pretty plain and unfinished.

I think terminal conflict is awesome, the tunnel is just too long for the one team. If you could make it to where the main battle goes on in the lobby it would be good.

I will create a new poll for a TC modification after we get significant votes on this. Truth be told, I was cleaning up TC the other day in the editor.

I think it's a unique map. Big and open. I've had many fun rounds on it. It does need some attention though but it has potential to be better.

Terminal Conflict would need a large face lift IMO. The idea is spot on, but the map itself isn't that great. I pulled it up after a conversation with Spanky and the map wasn't too interesting.

Voted yes even tho i think TC is an interesting map, a pretty huge one but still interesting. I think i've almost never seen Sniper Canyon being played and anyway i don't really like the idea of camping on 2 different sides for ages.

We'll have another vote. IMO, it's gone pretty quick for this one, I'm tempted to just remove the maps now and call it good since nobody has voted no.

What's fun about monkey island? For long range maps you can play decent ones such as Mountain Pass, Mountain Pass SE, Radio Tower, SF Oasis and for that extra mile, even SF Recon is better built.

What exactly do we gain by taking out maps though? A few less MB to download? Is that even worth it? I'd rather have the 3 maps there. It's not like they're bad quality, they are all great quality. Variety is good.

i dont see a problem to let the maps.....but okay i have a good download speed.
the problem at snipercanyon is that you can not cross river...maybe it would be better when the bridghe would be okay......

urban defens...i had take a look now :P never played this map,also terminal conflict.

please let Monkey_Island .... like that map (and i like listen music in tents  ;D )

For the record, Jonny came up with the 50mb limit. I've always tried to reduce file size of mAAp but with it's growth, it's become difficult. He mentioned these maps to me in a PM along with Square and I decided to keep Square and put up a poll for these maps as they're rarely played and they kinda suck.

As for what Killaman said, we already have good variety. The goal with mAAp isn't quantity, it's quality. Having less maps for users to focus on and help us improve upon is a good thing. Monkey Island does need a lot of help but I still think it has potential. Heck, we could even try a jungle compound with thick vegetation and whatnot. It doesn't have to be a big boring open map. The point is that there's a sky and terrain, those are the big details, the small ones can be worked out in future releases but ONLY IF WE HAVE USER INPUT.

Why disallow people from playing on a map that's not fully up to our standards? Some maps like Urban Defense just don't have much room for growth and it's obvious that it wasn't finished in the first place.

Why not just leave them in a slowly release updates? That way they can still be played.
