Like I said in the other topic, is there a way of deleting RPK in poolday? Or put it somewhere more fair, or put 2 so it is more even?

Should it just be removed entirely?

Few remarks on Petrol i noticed :

- Toilet doors inside the gas station won't open.
- Food Fridges inside the gas station are made of bulletproof glass.
Means u can lock up in there and noone can kill u ^^
- Some double doors and ladders lack climbing noises

1. Supposed to be that way. I guess I could make them movers but what would it really add to the map?
2. Thanks for reporting. I didn't think you could go into them so I didn't make the glass breakable.
3. I'm aware of the doors lacking a noise but it's impossible for the ladders to not have a noise. There are only 2 options, metal and wood, and there is no "none" option.

It's only the glass doors and the only door sounds I can find are of the common wooden door ones that sound really out of place.

You could always stick it in the center pool. It could make for some interesting moments if people try and go for it.

HAHAHAHA Yea! A ton of weapons in the middle of the pool. A few RPG's would be great too cuz all the close walls would kill you and everybody in there.

Yeah. Everyone would start with no weapons and it would be a mad dash for the pool. That would be an epic map.

Haha would be messed up. You can't imagine the ammount of players that enter poolday and first thing they type is mod rpg ... But yeah moving rpk in pool would be perfect, fair for both teams

i say leave it there , or change it to the pool to be more fair for both teams , at least they will run for it not just sit and camp

So there is a way to have weapons spawned in a certain location on the map? Say like halo for instance, two snipers spawn on each teams side on the pit. That could be pretty cool for competitive or whatnot because you would have to work to the power weapons making the round play a lot quicker.

I don't know if it really is to do with the new version, but:

I've never had many Critical Errors on 2.5, but lately I have a few every day... I know the game itself features a wide variate of Critical Errors, but somehow I've got the feeling the the latest updates have made them more frequent.

Just wondering if anybody else has had this feeling?

I know you've not really changed the game much (if at all), and it's not only happening on mAAp maps. Just right now I was playing pipeline and all of a sudden I get a CE... I don't remember ever having a CE on pipeline before. (granted it was a modded server, so that could up the risk of something going wrong)

I agree with this, time is being spent making maps which are, no offense, not well thought out, laggy, open, and random. Why do I want to donate to the continuing of this game? What can assure me this project will survive? I think a new moderation, call it management, system should be devised. And more critical features should be revised before adding to the game, without changing the game itself. IMO the modded servers and new maps will doom the game. Stick to your roots, its what worked before.

I've got ideas in the long term survival of this game.

Good.

I'm not sure what the mapper was thinking when he made this. Perhaps certain elements don't work as well in 2.5. Otherwise... Spanky had to delete the water in the pool to stop everyone from getting a critical error every time a grenade blew up in the water. That's actually the same thing that happens when you use an AGP zone info versus a regular zone info.

Spanky, I'm not sure if you intended for this to happen, but in mAAp Pipe, when I first step onto the main pump catwalk, my screen shakes like a motherfucker.

When I played Pool Day offline, I had a critical error whenever a frag should go off, so I think it might not have had anything to do with the water.

The roof you mean? Modification alone (it was discussed on the forums too) about 7/8 months ago i think, it was released early in January with 7.2 .

FFS This was the best map of all time, now its been turned into a noobs paradise.

If you want to fix some of the bugs I can help with that but what you have done has changed the whole game play.

Please lets get this changed back.

BTW I have been the # 1 SF Hospital player in my country for many years and in the top 5 in the world when I was actively playing this map most of the time so I may know a thing or 2 about it.

It doesn't take a genius or expert to recognize that roof has been seriously fucked up - the bars are blocking the view, and you can't see opfors at escort building 3rd floor.

tomorrow I revert to the old map(without railings). both client and servers should auto download teh file, if you cannot conect to a server with SF hospital just wait till the server auto update the map(wich may take longer in some servers).
or try another server.

Thanks possessed you have made my year.  lol Koden didn't even remember the posts on this.

Not sure about 2.5 but anything above 22 Slots on SFHospital used to lag most servers on 2.8.x.  Had a server that could do 26 but it was struggling, so 30 may be a problem.

Well some servers may not support 32 players without a bit of high latency or lag.
I have the original map without railing and 26 slots,
did not updated yet cuz I'v been playing some game too much lol and I need to re-read some stuff :)
I will get everything ready later today, but, It should be 'released' when theres less ppl.playing.

[mAAp]Square isn't been played now, because of the honor point taken away.
the only thing it should have been changed, was the bug with changing team, while you where alone on that map.
it did give every time you changed team 120 honors without playing vs enemy. that was not realy good.
but:
now i doesn't count that honor while playing vs enemies. this should be changed back again, also when you play 1vs1, it should count the honors like it was befor. also stepping at walls are no more possible. this is a pitty, was nice to do so.
would be great to have Square reverted to its original version like it was befor, but with the fix of the but i told above.
thanks.

Yep completely removed. They weren't really bug fixes but rather exploit or "zone" fixes (place where people isn't supposed to be). Ultimately whoring is the major bug we can't really fix  :? .

Fuck you. I fixed the point system on Square so peopel didn't whore points anymore. You don't get points 1vs1 because AA doesn't allow it. There has to be at least 4 players in the game. Also, the insane amount of points was stupid. I didn't really expect the community to bitch about fixing a map. This just proves that AA is just a whorefest now.  Bitching about minor changes and changes that stop them from getting easy points. What happened to people playing the game for fun?

Spanky, nigga please, roof change was hardly an improvement. I don't know what you fixed in other hosp parts, but the roof was basically _unplayable_. Read it again: _unplayable_. Did you try to go there at least once, go prone, and try to aim at the opfors in esc bld? If you would, you would see that the railings are obscuring the view. It made the roof a suicide for ambush.

Excatually my point.  Also can't remember the last time I seen someone using an exploit up there.

But thanks for changing it back, 2 servers full tonight and for the US servers that keep kicking me please stop, I pwn you because I know the map like the back of my hand because of lag which actually makes it harder for me not you.

Let's say for the sake of argument that what Spanky did to the roof was a mistake. Fine. But why does everyone need to an asshole and bitch and whine about it? What ever happened to politely addressing the situation or asking for a poll? How come when any mistake is made, people automatically resort to blowing up about it. Show some respect. Spanky's intention was to fix a bug, not make the roof unplayable. If you feel that a change should not have been implemented, post about it without being a dickhead. Do you honestly wonder why Spanky and Killa are pissed off? Really?

Well said, didnt really realise when I was agreeing with retorx post it was so bad on reflection.  It was more to point out that im not alone.

As I said I willing to help Spanky ect fix any bugs that need fixing on this one and keep the die hards (Myself included) happy so hopefully everyone is happy.   There is a list of the bug in another post I have.
