well I was about to show you guys SS I took of breakout but now the pictures are corrupted somehow? does anyone else have this problem?
-the first SS was of a support beam going across the room and over metal stairs.  You can't go down the stairs without crouching bc your head hits the beam.
-Theres a ladder in the upper levels of the map that goes to the highest level.  when you look up the ladder, the walls disappear in the room above.
-the same thing happens in the same room when you look out the window into that main room

No worries, all of those are fixed in the pending update :)

Unless you tried the beta?

tested today:
[mAAp]Ice  - everything is good. very nice work!

[mAAp]Square - again found maybe something to correct (sorry). when you are on top middle tower, you can jump beside on the broken part (see picture http://postimage.org/image/5eodk104z/ ). but then - and this is also at the current version - you can not enter the building again. but you should, if you are crouching i guess. maybe you can fix/allow that?

and one thing  more, but it has nothing to do with the maps:
it would be great, if also admins could be kicked when reached those timer limits at
- Idle Player Kick Minutes
- Idle Player Kick Rounds

and happy new year and all the best to you all guys!

Looking at this, it would be a bit of a pain to try and make the hole bigger or something. The easiest and quickest way to solve this problem is to just add a playerblock so instead of falling in the hole, you just slide right off. I agree that it would be cool to jump in there but I would have to remake that entire hole and I'm not too good with complex BSP work.

*EDIT*
I'm thinking that we're pretty much good for a release. Is there anything outstanding that hasn't been fixed yet? I haven't seen many map updates lately and I can't think of anything major to fix.

yes, i guess it is the time to do so.

but i have one last thing to tell about the maps, then it's a go from my side:

every map should count it's honors, but 4 doesn't at the moment.
Teh Yeti's Lair
UT04
PBall
Glass Kill House

would realy be nice to have ALL the [mAAp]'s counting honors. the new one's i didn't checked for that, sorry.

thank you again for doing a great job!

over and out

I would think more of them don't count honors, due to Battletracker. Unless there's something in Assist for those maps?

Fixed on Square. I'll leave it up to Killa to change Petrol.

The plan is to have the deadline for the Beta tommorrow at 2PM(CET).
Any changes to the content on the dropbox will have to be done before then.

So mappers, report that you are done with your changes here.

I really should fix up the tunnel lights on Pipeline but it's tedious work. Other than that, I'm done.

Do you want to wait on Steamroller or push it out in this update?

If possible, it would be sweet to get it included
however, I'm not the right person to complete it, pehaps you together with some of the other mappers can GangRape it :)
The Assist client is ready for it:

This is what I ment with playerstarts, the ones with Marine icon is basically empty, only get 1 smoke(Might be an Army joke on hte Marines expense)

I post in the Steamroller thread about the playerstarts.

As far as mAAp, I'm going to call it done on my end. Killa has been on the forums today and yesterday so I assume if he had any objections to the release, he would speak up.

On the dropbox there is this file
M2-Architectural.usx

It's older than the 7.14 version but a little bigger?

Anyone know what has changed in the file?

Do you mean the one that comes with AA 2.5? The one on Dropbox is the one from AA 2.6. It has the missing Dusk meshes. I just looked at the 7.1 release I have and there isn't a M2-Architectural.usx.

*EDIT*
Yea, I just checked my 7.14 Assist install and the one that's in there is the one that came with AA 2.5. The one on Assist is from AA 2.6 with a new mesh or two. It should permanently override the old one, nothing was added or removed by us, it's an official file.
