Still, low end IPS models are close to double the cost of a decent TN panel but I don't think they offer double the image quality and you can't get an LED IPS anywhere near 180€. LED is a must for me, I'm tired of seeing CCFL bulbs die or streak.

lol. Why are you using the Euro sign? Is Spanky a secret European?

Also, I got the VE228H. I'm loving it so far. So much better than my old Samsung SyncMaster. They had a 23" ASUS LED on sale for $160 but it was sold out by the time I found out.

I have that X6, it's a real nice improvement over a quad core (especially a quad core hyperthreading Intel, 4 real cores, 4 fake cores). AMD is budget but there's plenty of performance to be had with that chip. It overclocks great too, real worthwhile if you get the FSB up past 2600MHz.

spanky wont tell me how to overclock my 1090T cos hes afraid

Afraid that you might fire the chip up to Mars while overclocking? :D however it's so easy it's almost straightforward. Just go a few mhz at a time, let's say starting from 3600/3700 and then trying steps of 50mhz. That cpu even has an unblocked multiplier so it's a sweeter experience too :)
